CHOO CHOO PRESS

A collection of poems about poems themselves and altered states of consciousness.

Green Dream reaches beyond the ego, channeling the color green as a ritualistic tool to help the subconscious emerge. By focusing on the body as a vessel, Patapis allows a singular entrance into his very being, unveiling in the process the uncomfortable truth that the majority of life lies beyond the waking mind. A true masterpiece in occult poetics and an unforgettable portrait of an artist whose practice is a way of life.

Peter Patapis is the author of three chapbooks of poetry and has taught creative writing at Poets House and in Columbia University’s Pre-College Programs. His poetry can be found in magazines like Recliner and SARKA, amongst others.
